As the art director for Dipsea's latest video shoot, I was responsible for overseeing the art direction, styling, and casting of the shoot. Drawing from the brand's sensual and empowering messaging, I carefully curated the set design, lighting, props, wardrobe, and makeup to create a cohesive visual story that accurately reflected Dipsea's vision and goals.
In casting the right talent for the shoot, I carefully selected models who embodied Dipsea's values and aesthetic, creating an authentic portrayal of the brand that resonated with the target audience. Through close collaboration with the creative team and stakeholders, I was able to ensure that the final video accurately represented Dipsea's values, goals, and aspirations, ultimately serving as a catalyst for increased engagement and brand recognition.
Objective for the shoot:
Creating intimate moments that can be interchangeable with our audio content and used in multiple channels across all marketing functions.
Videos should feel sexy, safe, and alluring to the viewer. A peek into the intimacy and feeling that you get while listening to Dipsea.
Aesthetic: Dark, Moody, Bodies.
Movement: Fluid, Natural, in the Moment.
Moments: Intimate, alluring, Safe.
Setting: Nondescript, moody, familiar.
